Shop Mechanic

Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic the employee performs a full range of maintenance, repair and service activities on heavy equipment. Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair. Must work safely, efficiently, and productively. Competitive benefit package available after waiting period which includes health, wellness, dental, Rx, life insurance, and 401k plan.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of five years heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Must have hand tools.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
• Must be willing and able to work 50 hours per week minimum.
• Must be able and willing to walk, stand for long periods of time.
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability and be willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
