Maintenance Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Bucyrus, OH
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 2nd & 3rd Shift Available (Up to 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed)
Pay: $19.00–$25.00/hour (Based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Maintenance Technicians to support production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment. This is a hands-on role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Overtime is available, and shifts may extend up to 12 hours based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, forklifts, pelletizers, shredders, and other machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime
• Perform blade changes and maintain blade sharpening schedules
• Complete scheduled forklift preventive maintenance and inspections
• Repair leaks, mechanical failures, and equipment malfunctions
• Pressure wash forklifts and skid loaders as part of routine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and purchase order documentation accurately
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Assist with general facility maintenance as needed

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience required
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs is a plus
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Ability to read and complete maintenance documentation
• Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift
• Work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment
• Wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour
• Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
• Overtime available
• Up to 12-hour shifts as production requires
