Production Repair Technician

We're looking for a skilled Production Repair Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll repair non-conforming materials using welding and controlled grinding techniques while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. You'll maintain repair documentation, update ERP systems, support equipment maintenance, and help keep the work area organized through 5S practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing assembly and component inspection experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using hand tools, powered equipment, and ERP systems
  • Experienced in welding & surface grinding
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily welding and controlled grinding repairs on non-conforming materials while following established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Complete and maintain all required repair documentation, including daily repair logs, ERP system data entry, and required paperwork.
  • Support maintenance of repair equipment and work areas, including gas tank supplies, weld wire replacement, welding tip changes, and organization of repair materials and supplies.
  • Assist with repairs in other production areas as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and non-conforming material procedures.
  • Participate in daily 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Complete required training in accordance with the IB-TECH Training Matrix and ISO 9001/ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Be available to work multiple shifts, overtime, and occasional travel as required by business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
