JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
As the Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, and maintaining smooth workflow in Excelta’s manufacturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning production timelines with demand while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecast data, and resource availability
- Analyze production capacity and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing demands and minimize delays
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies, optimizing inventory levels
- Utilize advanced planning tools and techniques to enhance production efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor production performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to drive continuous operational enhancements
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any production-related quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation, ensuring timely completion of production goals
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to mitigate delays or disruptions
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure alignment on production priorities
- Analyze production metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process

Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methods
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with production scheduling software and toolsÂ
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or similarly regulated industry environmentÂ
- Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP)
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar

Work Location: 100% onsiteÂ
Work Schedule: 40 hours / week Monday – Friday
