Overview:

$89,738.00 - $119,650.00 / Annually

 

The Manger, Entertainment Finance will work closely with the Vice President of Entertainment and train under the current Production Manager in producing and managing the Annual Budget process, Entertainment Master Plan, and Entertainment financial/operational KPI’s.  Extensive financial systems exposure, knowledge and acumen for budget, forecasting and procurement Including financial systems integration and enhancements is a must.

 

This position will actively engage Entertainment Senior Leaders to report weekly/monthly variances, optimize Entertainment operations and the Entertainment production processes. In addition, this position will oversee the Entertainment procurement approval process, partner with various lines of business to model proformas for new activations and serve as the Division subject

matter expert for the financial/general accounting systems of entertainment and is responsible for analyzing various accounts for auditing and accuracy.


Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Analyze actual variances (vs. Budget and vs. Prior Year), publish financial results with root cause commentary and key performance indicators/metrics for monthly meetings with corporate finance partners under the direction of the Vice President of Entertainment.
  • Forecasting: Partner with Department Managers and other KBF Lines of Business to discuss and validate labor, operating expense and amusement fee projections to ensure consistency with latest operating assumptions (calendar).
  • Budgeting: Building and managing budgets for Annual Operating Plan, expenses, shows, seasonal events etc.
  • Financial Administration: Serve as the Entertainment/Procurement liaison by reviewing purchase requisitions for adherence to Company policy and Chart of Account coding.
  • Special Projects/Ad-hoc Analysis:  Business case modeling for new Entertainment activations and Marketing events including cost/benefit analysis (ROI), breakeven, etc. Other projects may include non-Entertainment Lines of Business financial support, true cost of operating a show, maze, ride, labor analytics etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors required - Business or Accounting preferred
  • Financial Acumen in accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reconcilliation
  • Entertainment background or familiarization preferred
  • Theme Park Experience Preferred
