Buena Park Server Trainee

Job DetailsJob Location: Fullerton Buena Park - Buena Park, CA 90621Salary Range: $18.90 - $18.90 HourlyJob Category: Restaurant - Food ServiceJob Purpose: - The server will be passionate about food, customer service, and creating an excellent experience for guests. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers - Explain our menu to customers - Grill meats at table - Upsell sides and drinks - Enter food and beverage orders in POS system - Transport food and beverage safely - Set up and break down dining areas - Sanitize, refill and stock service areas - Process payments - Other duties as assigned. Paid sick leave accrues at the rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked with a carryover cap of 80 hours. QualificationsRequired Education: - High School or GED - Food Handlers Card - Responsible Beverage Service Certification Required Experience: - At least one year prior server experience. Preferred Experience: - Server experience in a fast-paced full service restaurant setting. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong customer service - Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds - Ability to communicate food and beverage knowledge and orders - Ability to safely perform duties in restaurant setting Preferred Skills and Abilities: - Grill experience - Basic knowledge of wide variety of cuts of meat
