About the Role:
The Neighborhood Clinic in Abilene, TX is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions to a diverse client population
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic patient care
  • Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Connect clients with community resources and support services as needed
Requirements:
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Experience providing direct clinical services in a community health or outpatient setting preferred
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
