Join CVS Health as a Contracts Manager and lead the negotiation, development, and execution of complex IT and Non‑IT agreements that power our enterprise. In this high‑impact, independent contributor, role, you’ll lead contract negotiations, partner with senior executives, and influence strategic initiatives across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead drafting, negotiation, and finalization of complex vendor contracts while managing risk and maximizing enterprise value.
  • Serve as the escalation point for contract issues, advising senior leaders on legal, commercial, and compliance risks.
  • Partner across Legal, Sourcing, Security, Privacy, Tax, Finance, and other SMEs to ensure alignment with policies and regulations.
  • Support enterprise initiatives including supplier integration, M&A activities, and enterprise‑wide cost‑saving projects.
  • Maintain and enhance contract templates, processes, and purchasing policies.
  • Provide guidance on contractual rights/obligations and support supplier performance, compliance, and improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Expereince negotiating contracts
  • Expereince advising senior leaders on contract risks and strategy
  • Proven ability to manage high‑volume, high‑complexity negotiations
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule at a CVS HUB: Tuesday, Wednesday and two Thursdays a month.
  • 7+ years total professional experience (including any internships)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ariba (or similar contract management systems)
  • Experience in healthcare or retail procurement
  • JD, MBA, or relevant advanced degree
  • Professional certifications (C.P.M., C.P.P.O., C.F.C.M., C.P.C.M.)

Work Model

Hybrid schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and two Thursdays per month onsite at a CVS hub location.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required or similar expereince required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
