Our Space division in East Aurora, NY is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer – CAPA Specialist to join our dynamic team This Senior Quality Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to overcome barriers, solve problems, and achieve quality improvement goals.

As our Senior Quality Engineer – CAPA Specialist, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:

  • Plan, organize, and lead process improvement initiatives, applying technical knowledge and structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, etc.

  • Build strategic relationships at all levels – from management to frontline operators while inspiring and motiving employees to embrace change and encouraging accountability.

  • Maintain project metrics and report on project progress routinely.

  • Manage conflict and navigate different personalities, motivations, and work styles.

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, including establishing a project pipeline.

  • Continuously develop product expertise and tool, methods, and practices related to operational excellence.

To be considered for the Senior Quality Engineer – CAPA Specialist role, you will need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field

  • At least 5 years previous experience applying structures problem solving methodologies in manufacturing environments

  • Expertise applying quality tools (e.g., 8D, A3, 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree) and managing improvement projects

  • Solid working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001

  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $105,000.00–$130,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
