Ryan Auto Mall is excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Quick Lane Advisor at our busy automotive service center. This pivotal role is perfect for individuals passionate about the automotive industry and customer service. As a Quick Lane Advisor, you will be on the frontline, ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience during their service visits. This position is not remote and will require the candidate to be onsite at our facility.

You will play a crucial part in maintaining the operational flow of our Fast Lane services, maximizing efficiency and promoting a positive atmosphere that values each customer's time and business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
  • Assess customer service needs and advise on maintenance requirements and potential solutions.
  • Prepare detailed work orders based on the initial evaluation and technician diagnostics.
  • Coordinate and prioritize workflow between customers and the service team to ensure effective queue management.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately the recommendations from technicians to the customer.
  • Offer cost estimates for repairs and routine maintenance and explain the value and benefits of services provided.
  • Process service orders and payments efficiently, maintaining accurate records.
  • Consistently follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle and notify them promptly upon completion of service.
  • Handle customer concerns with empathy and resolve challenges by proposing beneficial resolutions.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, maintaining a cooperative and supportive atmosphere.
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, collecting feedback to continually improve service delivery.
  • Stay informed of the latest industry trends and service innovations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry, preferably in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, critical for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of automotive service procedures and protocols.
  • Basic financial acumen, capable of handling costing and billing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and resilience in dealing with customer complaints and queries.
  • Commitment to adhering to company policies and industry regulations related to vehicle service and customer care.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or vocational training in automotive service management is preferred.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with service-related software systems.
  • Availability to work in non-standard hours, including weekends, if required.
