Inside Sales Representative

Qualified applicants should possess a knowledge of the building industry, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and work in a highly fast paced environment.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

All potential candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check prior to any offer.

This is a full-time position M-F with competitive pay and benefits including medical & dental insurance.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Negotiating prices and placing orders with outside vendors.
• Communicate with customers & appropriate staff regarding changes to delivery schedules.
• Work with walk in customers and pull small orders.
• Processing order payments when required.
• Generate price quotes to customers.
• Maintain showroom and personal workstation area in a neat & organized manner.
• Quickly helping to solve customer complaints and problems.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Support outside sales.
• Interacting with vendors and participate in product training.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum education is a High School Diploma.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience in construction and building supply industry or product sales experience.
