Pay:  $16.00/hr plus gratuity 

The Country Club of Buffalo is currently looking to add seasonal bartenders to our current beverage team. Bartending at The Country Club of Buffalo is an important role in the Food and Beverage experience. As a bartender you will be responsible for making members and their guests feel welcomed, taking care of them in a timely manner and always providing exceptional service.  If you enjoy working as a team, a positive and upbeat work atmosphere and keeping busy, this is the place for you!

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Greet members, by name, in a timely manner upon their arrival to the bar. 
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to member specifications.
• Prepare drinks for front of house team members who are serving and cocktailing. 
• Work private parties when needed; such as weddings, showers, dinner parties, etc. 
• Be able to recommend specialty cocktails and wines. 
• Stock bar appropriately prior to service, according to volume. 
• Make bar manager aware when items need to be re-ordered. 
• Pass along feedback from members on their preferences. 
• Track and ring in all drinks appropriately. 
• Responsible for the safe service of alcohol. 
• Must maintain a clean work space.

The Duane Lyman designed Clubhouse encompasses 55,000 square feet featuring stately living rooms, three dining rooms, and various private party rooms.  

Requirements

Bartender Requirements:

• Upbeat/friendly personality
• Ability to work well with others
• 1-2 years previous bartending experience required 
• High attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Lift up to 50lbs
