Job DetailsJob Location: North Street - Buffalo, NY 14203Position Type: Full Time or Part Time, 12 MonthSalary Range: $16.50 - $21.04 HourlyBuffalo Hearing & Speech is seeking a dedicated Full-Time or Part-Time Custodian to join our team. Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  The full-time role includes daily travel, starting at our Amherst clinic and continuing to our North Street location in Buffalo. Part-Time Schedule (15 hours per week): Monday through Friday at our Amherst clinic, either 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Custodian plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center.   Essential Functions:  Clean, Vacuum, and maintain appearance on a daily basis for bathrooms, classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, etc, as individually assigned. Clean and Vacuum Hearing Booths and Audiology Treatment rooms  Empty all garbage daily Refill necessary items such as soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Refill water coolers Wipe down classroom/clinical equipment in necessary rooms such as the PT/OT room, library, playground, classrooms, evaluation rooms, etc. Complete recycling tasks daily. Cardboard, paper, etc. Ensure all end of the day items are completed, such as turning off televisions, coffee pot burners and lights. Alarm must be activated upon exit.  Assist with necessary maintenance of grounds and buildings as needed. All other duties as requested by your supervisor.   Skills: Functional and Technical Expertise custodial tasks.  High energy and a drive to work hard and succeed.  Experience with cleaning and maintenance. Attention to detail Integrity Education: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma/ GED   Physical Requirements : Physical actions may include, but are not limited to; bending, kneeling, standing, squatting, reaching, printing, crawling, and running. Vision, speech, tactical and hearing senses adequate to perform job requirements. Qualifications
