JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Provides oversight to identified housing staff with supervision and support for individuals that are homeless or at risk of homelessness with serious mental health, substance and/or physical health issues; as well as individuals releasing from State Correctional Facilities. Will ensure the provision of high-quality services to individuals and adherence to program guidelines. Will be responsible for assisting Director with daily program operations and performs related tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Knowledge and demonstration of agency core values in day-to-day activities 
  • Provides effective supervision utilizing agency standards, protocols, policy, and procedures and evidenced based practices 
  • Meets documentation timeliness standards and supervisees meet same expectation. 
  • Demonstrates excellence in ability to use technology and appropriate use of support. 
  • Follows Agency policies and procedures. 
  • Completes yearly update trainings. 
  • Assists with staff training and onboarding. 
  • Participation in community meeting and knowledge in all computer reporting systems (Homeless Management Information System, Single Point of Access, CAIRS, internal outcome reporting systems. 
  • Support staff in Developing client individual service and recovery plans, objectives, and methods consistent with assessment of problem as appropriate. 
  • Coordinates services with other staff and other agencies. 
  • Implements established service planning and provides assigned professional interventions. 
  • Serves as resource person & consultant to other service providers in identifying clients and works cooperatively with other providers to assure linkage of clients with appropriate services as needed. 
  • Prepares reports, maintains files, participates in training, and provides statistical materials. 
  • Assist with preparing client monthly rents.  
  • Assures that advocacy, linking, expediting and related activities are carried out as needed. 
  • Must have strong leadership and oversight of quality of housing services and documentation for supervisees. 
  • Responsible for monitoring productivity performance. 
  • Responsible for housing performance on regulatory reviews. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills 
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illness and be knowledgeable. 
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of effective supervisory and program management practices and principles. 
  • Excellent written and oral skills communicating  
  • Must Be Able to Multitask & Self-Motivated to Excel/Lead Team 
  • Must have Strong Leadership Skills

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health & Human Services - Experience Working with Mental Health, Substance Use and Physical Health Issues.  Master’s Degree Preferred 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience, of which at least two (2) are in a supervisory position, experience in health, behavioral health, or human services and housing, which assures sufficient knowledge and experience applicable to this position

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience must match above requirements

Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record, and possess a personal vehicle for job requirement

COMPENSATION: $50,000 - $61,000/yr
