BA Global Talent is looking for candidates in Tampa, Florida, to join a dynamic team as a Junior Lawyer. You will play a crucial role within a consumer bankruptcy practice that values professional excellence and significant client contact. This is a unique career option with no billable hours, no travel required, and an enjoyable work environment where all hearings are conducted via Zoom.
Responsibilities:
Manage client consultations and provide high-quality legal guidance to those in financial need.
Analyze and research legal issues; participate in 341 and confirmation hearings via Zoom.
Handle intensive client interaction through meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence.
Extract relevant information from documents and maintain accurate data in electronic systems.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information.
Communicate effectively with lawyers, insurance companies, and other relevant entities.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Education/Licensure: Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Florida Bar admission required.
Must be based in or able to commute to the Tampa Bay area.
Previous bankruptcy experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with insurance policies, claims processes, and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills for client-facing Zoom interactions.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of no-fault workers' compensation laws and procedures
Benefits:
Eligible for an employer-paid SEP retirement plan (25% of gross wages) starting in the 3rd year of employment.
Time Off: 2weeks vacation plus 8 paid holidays.

Schedule: Full-Time
