Maintenance Tech/Handyperson/Warehouse Associate

Are you a foodie? Do you love thinking about what you are making for dinner?  Have you worked on refrigeration equipment or for a refrigeration company and looking for a steady position.  Have you been in construction for a bit, but looking for something a little different?  If you are super handy keep reading.

Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats has been around for 95 years and we are looking for someone to help maintain our equipment and our older building.  We need help with the random things that come up in running an artisan meat production facility.  We make pepperoni, salamis and other artisan specialty meats.
 
This year, the company was taken over by a new team that is focused on eliminating preservatives from everything we make.  The energy in the building is pretty amazing.

This job is for someone that wants to wear a lot of hats.  The perfect candidate has worked for a refrigeration company, a plumber or has held various construction roles and is looking for a new place to call home.

Immediate projects include:

And if the projects go dry, we will want this person to help in the warehouse wherever is needed.  This person will work closely with several departments and will become a key person in the organization pretty quickly.

Compensation:  $18-$35/hour depending on experience.  Promotion from within, bonuses, insurance are all possibilities.
