Scheduling Supervisor

As a Scheduling Supervisor, you'll manage caregiver schedules, coordinate new hire training, assist with hiring, and help ensure adequate staffing to meet resident needs. This position does require the willingness to work on-call over the weekend and work as a caregiver when needed. Position Type: Full-Time working 24 hours on-site and 8 hours on call per weekend. 

Shifts Available:
Days: on-site 24 hours per week
On Call: 8 hours per weekend

Wage Range: $21 - $24 / Hour depending on experience

Location: 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313

Scheduling Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain caregiver schedules and schedule templates using applicable software. 
• Schedule and coordinate new hire training.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring new staff.
• Willingness to work on-call over the weekend to schedule replacements for open shifts and when necessary, work as a caregiver to ensure adequate staffing. 
• Assist with ordering of supplies.
• Serve as a leader and resource for staff, working closely with the Housing Director and DHS to ensure quality resident care, appropriate staffing levels, and effective facility operations.

• Prior experience in senior care environment or related health care field preferred.
• Able to demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in the workplace. 
• Excellent communication, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
