Position Overview
GTI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design the electrical architecture of modular data center power systems supporting high availability computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design electrical systems for modular data centers including UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution units
• Develop single line diagrams, electrical schematics, and cable schedules
• Design redundant power architectures such as N+1 and 2N systems
• Integrate UPS systems, batteries, generators, and electrical distribution infrastructure
• Develop monitoring and control systems for critical power infrastructure
• Coordinate electrical design with mechanical cooling systems and equipment layouts
• Support commissioning and factory testing of modular data center systems
• Develop electrical documentation supporting production and field deployment
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in critical power or data center electrical design
• Experience with UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution infrastructure
• Experience developing electrical schematics and production documentation
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing modular data centers or prefabricated critical power systems
• Familiarity with Tier data center reliability architectures
• Experience integrating generator backup systems
