Job DetailsJob Location: CTB - BUFFALO, NY 14225Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process optimization and drive operational excellence in a high mix/ low volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality production outcomes, advancing continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities Own and continuously improve manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, robust and repeatable production in a high-mix / low-volume environment. Drive measurable improvements in manufacturing KPIs (yield, scrap, throughput, and on-time delivery) using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Design and implement innovative manufacturing solutions, including tooling, fixtures, and process improvements. Serve as the technical lead for manufacturing problem-solving, using structured root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making to resolve production issues and prevent recurrence. Mentor and develop junior manufacturing engineers, sharing best practices in process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Partner closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), improve production readiness, and support new product introduction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial). 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high mix low volume manufacturing environment. Proficient using Office365 applications. Background in manufacturing process development, tooling, and fixture design Experience leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead cross-functional team projects. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
