Are you interested in building a career in Human Resources or ready to turn what you’ve learned in the classroom into real-world HR experience? We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part Time Human Resources Intern to join our corporate office in downtown Buffalo!

This internship provides hands-on exposure to several important areas of HR, including benefits administration, payroll coordination, and general HR operations. It’s an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wants to develop practical skills while learning from an experienced HR team.

Job Functions

  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Prepare, report, and distribute weekly employee exit interviews
  • Prepare and mail weekly benefit portability notices
  • Upload, code, reconcile, and maintain benefit premium invoices
  • Process weekly 401(k) payroll submissions & enrollment notifications
  • Assist with additional HR projects and administrative duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources and gaining hands-on experience in a corporate HR environment
  • Previous administrative, customer service, or HR support experience is a plus, but not required
