Job Summary

The Production Supervisor – Day Shift is responsible for leading a team of operators and production staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role drives daily execution on the production floor, while developing employees, optimizing workflow, and maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement. As a startup facility, this leader will help establish operating standards and shape culture from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and output goals
• Build, train, and coach a strong production team; foster accountability and problem-solving
• Prioritize schedule execution and ensure on-time product delivery
• Drive compliance with plant safety programs and participate in Safety Committee activities
• Maintain accurate ERP entries for inventory, downtime, and production reporting
• Monitor scrap, yield, and efficiency metrics; identify and implement improvements
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality to minimize downtime and ensure specification compliance
• Maintain clean work environments through 5S practices
• Support startup and commissioning activities as production scales

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production experience in manufacturing; extrusion or plastics preferred
• Experience leading or supervising production teams required
• Strong understanding of safety practices and standard work
• ERP or manufacturing systems experience preferred
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Flexible and willing to support evolving startup needs
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as assigned

Compensation & Benefit Information
Salary Pay Range: $25.00-$35.00 per hour dependent on experience*
                *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living and experience level.

Bonus/Incentive Pay

A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
