Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Buford - Buford, GA 30518Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Category: SalesThe Retail Sales Representative is an energetic individual who is looking to start a great career with one of the nation's largest flooring retailers!  The Flooring Attic is Atlanta Flooring Design Centers' newest retail operation.  This position would be great for someone seeking to further their knowledge of the flooring industry and sales techniques, as well as begin a strong career with an industry leader. HOURS: The Flooring Attic will be open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Schedules will fluctuate from week to week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets customers and vendors as they enter the store Identify prospective customers and respond to requests for proposals in a timely manner Establishes a rapport with prospects, customers, and others to understand service and sales requirements Qualifies each customer, determining their needs, desires, and budget Enters customer orders into RFMS Ensures availability of merchandise and services and coordinates installation schedules for the customer’s convenience Conduct job site visits as necessary to ensure proper installation and customer satisfaction (if necessary) Maintain contact with the customer after agreements are signed to ensure all work is completed correctly and on time Other duties as assigned BENEFITS: Bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit Eligible to participate in group health, dental & vision insurance plans after 60 days full-time employment Supplemental life, accident, cancer and short-term disability insurance available after 60 days full-time employment Retirement Plans: Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(K) with match Paid Time Off (PTO) from first day of employment Qualifications Product and installation knowledge of flooring, tile, cabinet and countertops is preferred Interpersonal skills including excellent listening, verbal and oral communication to allow for professional interaction with customers and vendors and maintain working relationships with co-workers Professionalism to include dependability, accountability, punctuality, professional dress, speech and behavior and organizational skills Previous retail sales/customer service experience Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift heavy objects as needed (frequently)
