Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Boat & Trailer Title Clerk to support our marine dealership operations. This role is responsible for processing deals, managing titles and registrations, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal requirements. You will work closely with Sales, Finance & Insurance, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of all transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process finalized boat and trailer deals, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurateÂ
- Retrieve and manage Manufacturer’s Statements of Origin (MSOs), titles, and trade-in paperworkÂ
- Register boats and trailers for in-state and out-of-state deals in compliance with GA DNR and applicable agenciesÂ
- Prepare and submit applications, tax forms, and required documentation for titling and registrationÂ
- Track and follow up on pending registrations, lien releases, and title workÂ
- Prepare check requests/payables for sales tax, registration, title, and warranty feesÂ
- Maintain spreadsheets and deal logs to ensure accurate tracking of all transactionsÂ
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, brokers, and agencies to resolve documentation issuesÂ
- File and maintain organized records of completed and pending dealsÂ
- Process manufacturer warranties and ensure proper documentation and payment

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of administrative, title clerk, or dealership experience (marine or automotive preferred)Â
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and general computer systemsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Knowledge of GA DNR or vehicle/marine titling processes is a plusÂ
- Strong communication and problem-solving skillsÂ
