Role Description

Recom is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our Buford, Georgia fulfillment center. This leader will be responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and employee development. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-performing teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.


The Warehouse Manager will oversee inbound receiving, FBA preparation, inventory control, outbound shipping, returns processing, and warehouse safety. Success in this role requires strong leadership, analytical decision-making, and a continuous improvement mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality, safety, and customer service objectives.
  • Manage warehouse supervisors, leads, and hourly associates while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage labor planning and warehouse operating expenses to achieve budgeted financial objectives.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inventory management, product preparation, shipping, and returns processing.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation efforts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
    • Productivity
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Order accuracy
    • On-time shipment
    • Lead time
    • Safety performance
    • Labor utilization
  • Develop staffing plans and schedules to meet changing customer demand.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon FBA requirements and customer-specific operating procedures.
  • Identify process improvements that reduce cost while improving throughput and quality.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Lead investigations into inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and promote a strong safety culture through regular training and audits.
  • Manage equipment, facility maintenance, and warehouse organization.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and future leaders through regular feedback and performance management.
  • Support new customer implementations and operational expansions.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
  • 3+ years managing supervisors and large warehouse teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading facilities with high SKU counts and fast-paced operations.
  • Proven knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using KPIs and data to improve operational performance.


Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in Amazon FBA, e-commerce fulfillment, or third-party logistics strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies


Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to walk the warehouse floor for extended periods. 
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. 
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required during peak business periods or physical inventory events.
