Job Summary

Ardent Services, LLC

 

Directly supervise and participate in the installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within a certain scope of the project. Capable of supervising small crews of craft persons with guidance from General Foreman.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Able to evaluate and assign work from drawings and diagrams.
  • Layout the work for the employees in crew.
  • Complete regular safety walk through and weekly inspections with General Foreman.
  • Plan, Effectively Communicate and Monitor crew’s progress, direct the crew and inform General Foreman of job status.
  • Knowledge of company’s and clients safety programs and requirements.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices
  • Knowledge of use, limitations and maintenance of all Personal Protective Equipment required for the assigned work.
  • Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with working from elevated work areas and personnel lift equipment.
  • Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with the assigned work including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout, Confined Spaces, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting, and Hazcom procedures.
