POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounting Manager is responsible for helping oversee the daily operations of the Burbank Operational Accounting Center (OAC), supporting multiple Direct Operations offices and key Shared Service departments. This role helps lead a team of accounting professionals and ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of accounting transactions, reconciliations, and month-end activities.

The ideal candidate shows strong leadership potential with excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional internal customer service while maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

LOCATION

  • This position is onsite in Burbank, CA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 8-9 accounting clerks.

  • Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

  • Provide accounting support and exceptional customer service to Direct Operations and Shared Service partners.

  • Review revenue and expense activity for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies, posting errors, and operational issues.

  • Review daily bank account reconciliations to ensure timely identification and resolution of outstanding items.

  • Coordinate and participate in month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, review, and posting.

  • Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to build productive working relationships.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

FNF, its affiliates, and subsidiaries carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, specialty, experience, and work location. Based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience, this position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 annually. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location.  The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
