You don’t just manage offices, you build specialty dentistry.
We’re looking for a driven dental leader to oversee multiple offices and build specialty services including orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, and other specialty treatments from the ground up.
This is a high-impact role for someone who can identify opportunities, build systems, develop teams, and turn specialty services into successful, scalable programs.
Role Summary
As the Dental Specialty Manager, you will lead specialty growth across multiple locations. You’ll work closely with doctors, Office Managers, specialists, and leadership to launch and grow specialty services, improve case acceptance, increase referrals, and drive production.
You’ll have significant ownership and influence over how specialty dentistry is developed across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee specialty operations across multiple dental offices.
- Build and launch specialty programs including ortho, perio, and endo.
- Develop systems for identifying, presenting, scheduling, and tracking specialty cases.
- Drive internal referrals, case acceptance, production, and collections.
- Partner with doctors and Office Managers to integrate specialty services into each practice.
- Recruit, support, and develop specialty providers and team members.
- Train teams on specialty workflows and patient communication.
- Track KPIs and hold teams accountable for specialty growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand specialty services and improve performance.
- Create scalable processes that can be replicated across multiple locations.
- Ensure an exceptional patient experience throughout the specialty journey.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of dental management or multi-office leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with specialty dentistry, particularly ortho, perio, or endo, strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental operations, scheduling, production, collections, and case acceptance.
- Proven leadership and team-development skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple locations and traveling between offices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to build and improve systems.
- Open Dental experience is a plus.
