Essential Functions:Â
- Ensure that accurate and timely data transfers occur between the A&E locations, the Time & Attendance System and payroll according to defined schedules.Â
- Reviews the computation of pay and associated deductions for accuracy. Â
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of city, state, provincial, local, and federal legislation affecting payroll; understands and follows applicable provisions. Â
- Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting. Â
- Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly. Â
- Assists with new tax filing set up and resolving tax related issues. Â
- Assists with auditing payroll reports. Â
- Works with HR team members to identify and resolve common problems.Â
- Any other task assigned by supervisor or management.Â

Minimum Qualifications:Â
3 years of experience managing payroll for a mid-sized to large organization or multiple locations Â
Experience with an automated time and attendance systemÂ
Extensive experience in payroll accounting, compliance practices and theories related to payroll systems and processes.Â
Knowledge: Continuous Improvement training or equivalent process improvement knowledge, Problem Solving & Root cause analysis.Â
Skills/Abilities:Â
Excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse, and conflicting priorities.Â
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with proven attention to detail.Â
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalentÂ
