About the Team and the Role
The Regional Asset Protection Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating Regional Security Specialists while ensuring the secure handling, transportation, and movement of high-value collectibles.
Based in Burbank, California, this hands-on role will support special events, sporting-event partnerships, consignment pickups and drop-offs, and the movement of valuable collectibles between clients, company locations, event venues, and business partners!
The successful candidate must have proven experience managing or moving high-value merchandise, collectibles, memorabilia, luxury goods, or other sensitive assets. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, accountability, and strict adherence to chain-of-custody and Asset Protection procedures.
What You Will Accomplish
- Supervise and coordinate Regional Security Specialists.
- Ensure the secure handling, transportation, and movement of high-value collectibles.
- Support special events, sporting-event partnerships, consignment pickups and drop-offs, and the movement of valuable collectibles between clients, company locations, event venues, and business partners.
- Complete client-facing pickups and deliveries involving valuable or sensitive property.
- Maintain accurate chain-of-custody records, incident reports, and transfer documentation.
- Handle valuable and irreplaceable assets with discretion, care, and accountability.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client and company information.
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience handling, securing, or transporting high-value merchandise, collectibles, memorabilia, luxury goods, or sensitive shipments is required.
- Strong understanding of chain-of-custody procedures, secure transportation practices, and accurate transfer documentation.
- Proven ability to handle valuable and irreplaceable assets with discretion, care, and accountability.
- Three or more years of experience in asset protection, security, loss prevention, secure logistics, investigations, law enforcement, military service, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience supervising, training, or coordinating employees or contract security personnel.
- Experience completing client-facing pickups and deliveries involving valuable or sensitive property.
- Experience supporting sporting events, entertainment events, partnerships, client activations, or live productions is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate chain-of-custody records, incident reports, and transfer documentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client and company information.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and adjusted schedules based on events and business needs.
Additional Details
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$140,000 - $150,000Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
