Job description

SECURITY OFFICER 
Must be open to all shifts 
 

Anticipating and responding to the ever-changing demands of the security and safety of our people. We offer a unique and strong company culture in a professional work environment. All employees operate as a high performance team working towards a common goal; to keep safety of all employees. Full time position would be overnights.

DUTIES:

• Diligent patrols of the campus interior and perimeter using a mobile guard patrol system
• Including but not limited to offsite facilities
• Proficient documentation of every shift through daily activity reports
• Responding to and documenting workplace related injuries and incidents
• Managing access control across campus facilities
• Arming the alarm panels with regards to our standard operating procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to pass a Criminal background and Drug-screen
• A clean Driving record is a MUST
• Proficient customer service skills. Positive morale, and team player
• Previous experience required
• BSIS guard card is a MUST

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Incumbents are regularly required to use hands, talk, and hear
• Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and smell
• Occasionally are required to stand, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Required to mount and dismount vehicles
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions
• The noise level is generally moderate
