Job Summary
The Janitor/Utility Technician is responsible for safely performing duties related to maintaining consistent cleanliness and order in all facility areas. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment and floor Scrubber.
The incumbent will be able to work alone and effectively prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day.

Essential Duties

Janitor Essential Duties

*Clean and sanitize common areas, such as conference rooms and bathrooms
*Daily vacuuming, mopping, or scrubbing floors
*Restock supplies in bathrooms and kitchen areas, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
*Clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators
*Empty all trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed
*Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture
*Cleaning windows, window seals, and walls at appropriate times
*Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner
*Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
*Proper labeling, dilution, and use of cleaning chemicals
*Safe, clean up of spills with appropriate equipment as necessary
*Performs other housekeeping duties as assigned
Utility Tech Essential Duties

*Operate floor scrubber and maintain floors within the plant daily.
*Clean around the perimeter of the building every week.
*Ability to work at heights to perform cleaning and other duties.
*Ability to paint and perform light maintenance activities.
*Actively pursue and maintain total plant safety.
*Demonstrate a sense of urgency to correct operational and safety problems.
*Clean equipment and buildings to maintain housekeeping standards.
*Uses hand and power tools.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Ability to work with minimal supervision
*Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Prior janitorial experience is preferred

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $22.78
