THE JOBĀ 

The Pavilion at Star LakeĀ isĀ seekingĀ Night of Show Ancillary Sellers. This roleĀ willĀ be responsible forĀ communicating toĀ guests aboutĀ additionalĀ amenities that the venue has to offer.Ā This team will work closely with the Ancillary Manager toĀ determineĀ what offers will be available for each show, and how this will be communicated to our guests. It is the perfect position for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working independently while still being part of a team.Ā

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOĀ 

  • Greet all guests andĀ assistĀ in answering any questions they may have about the venue.Ā 

  • Promote and sell all the various promotions or upsells offered at each event, such as Premier Parking, Fast Lane, Clear Bags, Blankets, Lawn Chair Rentals, VIP Club Access, VIP Seat Upgrades, Cabanas, etc.Ā 

  • Assist Ancillary Revenue Supervisor in setting up and breaking down cabanas, signs, tables, tents, etc. as needed.Ā 

  • Examine tickets or passes pre-purchased toĀ determineĀ authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued.Ā 

  • Handle credit card transactions according to Live Nation's audit guidelinesĀ 

  • Balance out at the end of each shift with a supervisor.Ā 

  • Inventory - all physical items must be counted prior to the start of the event and again at the end of the showĀ 

  • May fill in temporarily with another department to support staffing levels during peak or break times.Ā 

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Ancillary Manager or venue management.Ā 

  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this includes collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, pickingĀ upĀ andĀ properly storingĀ event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.Ā 

  • This roll is part-time,Ā seasonalĀ and requires evening and weekend availability.Ā

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGĀ 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.Ā 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferredĀ 

  • At least 2 years in Guest Service and communications preferredĀ 

  • Prior sales or cash handling experience is a plusĀ 

  • Familiar with iPhone and iPad technology.Ā 

  • Creative thinker and problem solverĀ 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsĀ 

  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacyĀ 

  • A strong attention to detail, outgoing personality, sense of teamwork and ability to execute programsĀ 

  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs,Ā liftingĀ and carrying 50Ā lbs+, and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.Ā
