Xanfab Space is an Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) provider based in SeaTac, WA, specializing in space applications. About the Role

Xanfab is seeking an Account Manager to run the day-to-day commercial relationship with our customers. As the point of contact, this person will manage quoting, order status, delivery tracking, pricing updates, and change orders. The role is responsible for guiding each request for quote (RFQ) from intake through quotation, monitoring delivery commitments, proactively communicating changes, and keeping customers informed as programs evolve. This role coordinates daily with production, quality, and engineering staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•      Customer relationship management Responsible for customer accounts on business and commercial matters; maintain regular, proactive communication on order status, open quotes, and overall account health.

•      Quote management Receive and log incoming requests for quote; coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Materials/Supply Chain to gather cost, lead-time, and capacity inputs; prepare and issue formal quotations to customers; track every quote from decision to delivery.

•      Order and delivery tracking Monitor open orders against committed delivery dates; proactively flag and communicate schedule changes to customers, revised commitments; escalate at-risk deliveries internally with Operations.

•      Pricing and change management Track pricing changes, material cost pass-throughs, scope changes, engineering change orders and issue updated quotes and pricing to customers; maintain accurate records of final agreed pricing by part number and program.

•      Contract and documentation support Maintain organized records of customer POs, quotes, pricing history, and correspondence; support review of standard commercial terms, escalating anything nonstandard.

•      Cross-functional coordination Work daily with Operations, Production Control, and Engineering to gather accurate status, cost, and capacity information needed to answer customer questions.

•      Reporting Maintain account status reporting for Xanfab, covering open quotes, open orders, and at-risk deliveries


Required Qualifications

•      2+ years of experience in a customer-facing commercial role (account management, customer service, inside sales, or program/order coordination), ideally in manufacturing, electronics, or aerospace/defense

•      Experience managing or coordinating requests for quote (RFQs), including gathering cost/lead-time inputs and preparing customer-facing quotes

•      Comfortable tracking multiple open orders, customer, and programs simultaneously, and proactively communicating status changes 

•      Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable serving as the face of the company to customers

•      Basic proficiency with ERP/MES and/or CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

•      Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through


Preferred Qualifications

•      Knowledge of PCB assembly (PCBA), electronics manufacturing services (EMS), or aerospace/defense contract manufacturing

•      Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ITAR-regulated environments

•      Experience with change order / engineering change notice (ECN) processes

•      Experience with pricing models or cost roll-ups (labor, material, overhead)

Additional Requirements

•      On-site office-based role with regular interaction with the production floor to gather status

•      ITAR - To conform to U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
