Occupational Therapist (OT) - Ortho/Oncology

Outpatient

 

Hours: Full time 32-40 hours

 

Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity

 Salary Range: $75,920.00 - $103,105.60 (for 40 hrs full time)

 

BSWIR Burleson is seeking a full time occupational therapist to help support our OT program by providing exceptional care to our patients with oncology and/or orthopedic diagnoses on a 32 hr full time basis. 40 hour full time status potential if candidates are willing to split between two centers. The ideal candidate will  be a motivated team player with strong communication and organizational skills.  Join our team of 3 outstanding PT's and 2 patient service specialists.  BSWIR outpatient positions are managed by Select Medical and all employees have access to our robust education department offerings as well as career growth opportunities. Outpatient ortho experience required, willing to consider level II fieldwork in outpatient adult orthopedics.

Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population. Completion required within the first year of employment.

ReVital is an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical. Our vision is to establish comprehensive cancer rehabilitation as a standard of care for people affected by cancer. Our network of 900+ specially trained, multidisciplinary therapists work closely with oncologists and people affected by cancer to create personalized rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
  • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing OTs
  • Complete and maintain required trainings
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapy State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR required
  • Outpatient adult orthopedic experience (willing to consider levell II fieldwork)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
