The role you’ll contribute:

At AdventHealth Orlando, our primary customers are patients and families. Our partners are physicians and our team members are all employees of AdventHealth Orlando. The Patient Care Tech works under supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age specific groups identified in the position responsibilities. Adheres to the AdventHealth Orlando Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

•  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.

• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record

• Documents and reports all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.

• Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Required

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Preferred qualifications: 

• 1+ year Work Experience Preferred

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Preferred
