Job DetailsJob Location: McLane Classic Foods - Burleson, TX 76028Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Food Manufacturing Role and Responsibilities Employee will be responsible for correcting any product that has been held by QA due to not meeting/passing FDA or Client requirements. Remove pouches from boxes to ensure each pouch is weighed correctly; if not remove or add product to ensure it weighs to standard. Remove pouches from boxes to ensure each pouch is flattened correctly. Remove pouches from boxes to ensue each pouch is labeled correctly. Remove pouches from boxes to ensure there is no foreign material in product; ensure any foreign material found is reported immediately to production line lead and/or production supervisor. Remove pouches from boxes, then remove product from pouches to place in V-Mags. Rework product as required. Move from one assigned area to another throughout the day as assigned. Maintain clean work area. Sweep, clean, remove trash and remove inedible as necessary. Additional responsibilities as instructed by Production Line Lead or Production Supervisor. Adhere with plant GMP’s and safety guidelines. QualificationsSkills and Requirements HS Diploma or Equivalent Be able to stand for extended periods of time. Be able to stoop, bend and climb steps. Be able to Lift 20-40 lbs. Be able to work in warehouse environment that may be cold or hot, depending on season during 8 hour shift. Basic literacy skills (English) – to read product code information. Allergen training required. Additional Notes May be required to assist in pack-off, prep or sanitation as needed.
