More than just tidying up, they play a pivotal role in ensuring that each guest's stay is comfortable and enjoyable by upholding the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that Courtyard by Marriott is known for. Room Attendants are also tasked with collaborating with other hotel departments to promptly address guest needs and requests. You will spend a lot of time on your feet cleaning and organizing guest rooms. The job involves lifting and moving items like linens and supplies, so physical strength and safe lifting practices are important to avoid injuries. Precise hand-eye coordination is needed for handling delicate items and using cleaning equipment effectively. In this role, you will often stand, walk, bend, and reach. You must handle objects with your hands, including repetitive wrist and finger movements. You will need to lift, move, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Good vision is necessary, including close and distant vision, color and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
