Summary Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within warehouse by performing theĀ 
following duties:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determineĀ 
items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequenceĀ 
such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes itemsĀ 
to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing stationĀ 
or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
Responsibilities
Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include ability to lead, motivateĀ 
and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that requireĀ 
immediate attention.

Education and/or ExperienceĀ 
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/orĀ 
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language SkillsĀ 
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple.
correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations toĀ 
customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsĀ 
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions,Ā 
and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityĀ 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ā 
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer SkillsĀ 
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is helpful.
Other Skills and AbilitiesĀ 
Bilingual skills are highly desirable.
