APP (NP/PA) - Inpatient Cardiology

Job Description:

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking an experienced NP or PA to join our collaborative team on a full-time basis. We operate in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where quality, collegiality, and patient-centered caring come first.

The Role:

As a vital member of our clinical team, you will manage admissions (H&Ps), develop daily therapeutic plans, and coordinate emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical: Order/interpret labs, ECGs, and diagnostic tests.

• Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for nursing and consult services.

• Documentation: Manage progress notes and daily orders.

Shift & Schedule:

• Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

• Hours: Primarily 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Rotations: Every 3rd weekend; occasional holidays and nights.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Experienced providers preferred (New grads considered only with extensive Cardiology backgrounds).

• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.

• Licensure: Current MA license, DEA, and MCSR required.

• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence and a team-first mindset.

Pay Range:

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
