Job Duties:

  • Utilizing engineering background, provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP).
  • Work with EDA tools, collaborate with technical experts, and support the sales team in a dynamic, innovative environment focused on silicon design and design automation.
  • Provide front-line design services, technical sales and customer support to the most advanced Cadence customers and work with Cadence account teams to create innovative solutions to address our customers’ most challenging technical problems.
  • Build training materials and rapid adoption kits to assist customers with deploying solutions.
  • Present customer case studies both internally and externally to assist with understanding of the technical material and the application of our software to solve our customers’ design challenges.
  • Provide sales with return on investment data associated with customer engagements.
  • Some telecommuting permitted.
  • Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Synthesize HDL into a technology-dependent structure
  • Python and TCL scripting, and tooling to insert structures into existing customer semiconductor designs
  • Create self-help collateral to assist customers with electronic design and deliver that collateral to customers as needed
  • EDA tool flows, place-and-route and semiconductor design principles with a focus on customer need
  • Develop, execute and automate test cases to identify issues in EDA workflows or tools, verify implemented fixes, and share validated results with customers
  • Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

The annual salary range for Massachusetts is $95,285 to $135,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
