The BIM Specialist position helps facilitate the digital delivery of design projects across AHA offices through project setup, support, and training. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills as you collaborate with others across AHA’s many departments.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Setup/Update AHAdesign projects for the team’s use, including:
- Utilizing client’s Revit modelsthroughcontent extraction & data reference
- Creating MEP/FP Revit models
- Provide design software support, including:
- Troubleshooting software issues & implementing solutions
- Training users in best practices, and standards
- Maintain content libraries,utilizingcompany standards & parameters
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in either Revit or AutoCAD, which a general understanding of terms & workflows
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Teams
- Strong communication skills at all levels within an organization,both verbal & written
- Ability to work both independently &within a team environment
- Ability to work in the US (AHA is not sponsoring work authorization)
- Either or both:
- Professional experience in the AEC industry
- Degree/Certificate in CAD, Engineering or similar
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Strong understanding of Autodesk’s cloud platform (Forma)
- Proficient in Revit usage, including:
- Project browser, visibility troubleshooting & family creation
- Experience withadditionalsoftware, such as Newforma, Bluebeam & Navisworks
WorkingÂ
- Expect to work at the office for at least three (3) days a week
- Expect to work at home/ remotely up to two (2) days a week
- During orientation, up to 3 months, expect to report to the office every day
- The role is40 hours/week.
- Core hours are 9:00AM(EST)to3:00PM(EST) on Monday thru Thursday,and 9:00 (EST) to 12:00PM (EST) on Friday,whether you are working at home or at the office
The expected compensation for this hourly, full time role, including benefits, ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 will be determined based on experience and education.
