About Brandhub
Brandhub is the operating system for trade marketing. We help leading brands the creation and execution of field marketing activations — capturing rich data at every step. We’re now building the data infrastructure and analytics layer that turns that operational data into strategic intelligence: a growing data warehouse, in-app insights features, and dashboards that give brand teams a real edge.
The Role
We’re looking for a Data Product Manager to own the development of our data and insights product line. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of client strategy, product development, and data engineering. You’ll work directly with our brand clients to understand what decisions they need to make and what data would help them make better ones — then translate those needs into features, dashboards, and data products built in partnership with our BI and engineering teams.
This is a foundational role. You’ll be shaping how Brandhub delivers data value as we scale our warehouse and analytics capabilities.
This role is a full time, in-person position in our Burlington, VT headquarters.
What You’ll Do
Client & Stakeholder Discovery
•      Partner directly with brand clients to understand their trade marketing workflows, KPIs, and data pain points
•      Conduct discovery sessions with internal stakeholders (sales, CS, operations) to surface insight opportunities
•      Define and prioritize use cases based on client value and feasibility
Product Development
•      Own the roadmap for Brandhub’s data features and dashboard offerings
•      Translate client needs into detailed requirements for our BI team and developers
•      Collaborate closely with engineering to support the build-out of our data warehouse and data pipelines
•      Work in our Business Intelligence tool to prototype and deliver dashboards and reports
Delivery & Iteration
•      Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data products from discovery through launch and iteration
•      Define success metrics for each feature; monitor adoption and gather feedback post-launch
•      Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including writing specs, presenting to clients, and running internal reviews
What We’re Looking For
Experience
•      3–5 years in a data product management, analytics, or data strategy role — ideally in a B2B SaaS or platform environment
•      Hands-on experience working with BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
•      Experience working with or alongside data engineering teams on warehouse and pipeline projects (Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, etc.)
•      Proven track record of translating ambiguous business problems into clearly scoped data products
Skills
•      Strong discovery and requirements-gathering skills — you know how to ask the right questions
•      Proficient in SQL — you can explore and query data directly without relying on an analyst
•      Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing best practices (dimensional modeling, schema design, etc.)
•      Comfortable with CLI usage for running tasks and basic data pipeline operations
•      Familiar with Git for version control — able to manage code changes and collaborate with engineering teams
•      Clear communicator who can speak both “client” and “engineer”
•      Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize ruthlessly in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
•      Background in trade marketing, CPG, retail, or field operations
•      Experience with modern data stack tooling (dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte)
•      Familiarity with embedded analytics or customer-facing reporting products
What Does Success Look Like?
In the first year, you’re successful if you’ve built a clear process for turning client and stakeholder input into shipped data products — and if users are actually adopting what you’ve built. Concretely, that means:
•      Launching and driving adoption of 2–3 new features or dashboards per quarter
•      Clients and internal stakeholders can point to specific decisions they’ve made better because of Brandhub data
•      A well-maintained roadmap that engineering and leadership trust and can plan around
Why This Role
•      You’ll own a product area from the ground up — not inherit a backlog
•      Direct client exposure with real influence over what gets built
•      Strong data infrastructure investment means you’ll have the right tools to execute
•      Collaborative, fast-moving team that values curiosity and ownership
