Community Health Centers of Burlington is seeking a full time Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality dental care to CHCB patients. CHCB’s Dental Hygienists are responsible for evaluating patient oral health, dental/medical history, dental complaints, and completing dental hygiene procedures in a public health setting. Basic Qualifications
- Vermont State License in Dental Hygienist with Local Anesthetic Endorsement
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- 3 years of experience desired but not required; new graduates welcome!Â
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of oral hygiene and periodontal care
- Ability to work and communicate with a large group of professionals; dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and leadership staffÂ
- Knowledge of dental medical emergencies
- Knowledge of public health, social and economic factors that impact the health and oral health of patients
- The ability to travel to other CHCB locations as necessary
