The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking aĀ board certified/eligibleĀ GeriatricĀ Medicine PhysicianĀ toĀ help develop and lead an inpatientĀ geriatrics consultation service.Ā
This role is key to our clinical, educational, and quality improvement missions.Ā
š„ What You Will DoĀ
AssistĀ with developing anĀ inpatient geriatric consultation serviceĀ within Laheyās academic medical center.Ā
ProvideĀ consultation servicesĀ as part ofĀ interdisciplinary care.Ā
SupportĀ LHMCās plans to become anĀ Age-Friendly HealthĀ SystemĀ
TeachĀ geriatric care principlesĀ to interdisciplinary professional learners, including medical students and residentsĀ
Commit to promotingĀ quality care transitions.Ā

CompletedĀ Geriatric MedicineĀ FellowshipĀ training by hireĀ date orĀ demonstrateĀ comparable experience.Ā
Board certified/eligible inĀ GeriatricĀ Medicine.Ā
Demonstrate passion for clinicalĀ geriatrics.Ā

Pay Range:
$220,000.00 USD - $240,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary rangeĀ the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.Ā In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.Ā
