An innovative company with proven experience in creating exciting new products that redefine what is possible in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.   Position Opportunity       The Maintenance A/B (Maintenance tech A or B) plays a critical role in supporting the maintenance, reliability, and efficiency of Alamance Foods' production operations. This position is responsible for first line of contact for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of high-speed food and beverage manufacturing equipment.  Essential Duties/Responsibilities   Execute preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on production and utility equipment  Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.  Repair or replace defective components, including motors, belts, bearings, sensors, and control systems.   Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.   Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and basic automation equipment.   Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications  Accurately document maintenance activities in daily logs and MicroMain CMMS system  Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, OSHA, and Alamance Foods safety standards  Identify required replacement parts and maintain spare parts inventory  Coach others in troubleshooting, repair and PMs.  Communicate with Production Line supervisor and Maintenance supervisor to prioritize When Down Due work.  Escalate DT issues greater than 30 min to Maintenance Supervisor.  KPI:  Site PR >75%, Site Line DT <100min, Site Work Order <14 days, Site PM >85%  QualificationsQualifications  Education/Training/Certifications:   High School diploma or GED  Advanced understanding of of AC/DC motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems  Basic computer literacy.  Related Experience:   3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field  Knowledge/Skills Experience:   Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (480Vac, 220vac, 110vac, 24vdc), and basic PLC troubleshooting.   Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.   Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.   Travel Requirements:   Physical Requirements:   Standing  Walking  Sitting  Use of hands, fingers  Reaching with hands and arms  Climb and balance  Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl  Talk and hear  Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)  Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)  Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)  Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)  Alamance Foods Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against persons because of age, race, color, creed, religion, disability, gender, ethnic or national origin, or veteran status. Alamance Foods Inc. prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities and will reasonably accommodate applicants with a disability, upon request, and will also ensure reasonable accommodation for employees with a disability.
