Available shift: 1st Shift: Monday through Friday - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Two 10 Min Breaks & 30 Min Lunch) Job Description: The Receiving Associate is responsible for assisting with maintaining production needs in the manufacturing plant. The associate may be assigned to numerous roles in the facility including physical picking and pulling material for assembly builders, various quality inspection duties, verify and direct all inbound shipments and product, confirm quantities and condition of product, and record received product in computer system and/or through an RF device. The associate must work in team environment, be a self-motivator with high integrity, and meet required Quality standards in production. The associate must be familiar with safely operating various types of material handling equipment. The associate must be diligent with filling out clear and concise information on paperwork and Quality records. Principle Accountabilities: Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measures of items from incoming shipments to verify information against Bills of Lading, Invoices, Packing Lists or other records Unpacks and examines incoming shipments Rejects damaged items and records shortages where applicable Addresses damages or shortages to the Manager for proper routing May operate fork truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from one staging area to another location May receive damaged or defective goods returned to establishment Stage goods for stocking by warehouse zones Handling paperwork involved in order receipts and may use hand-held scanners to read bar codes on incoming products or by hand-entering this information into computers Fulfill general production requirements through direction of Inventory Control Supervisor by maintaining various needs in the manufacturing plant.
