American Bin and Conveyor is looking for an organized, safety-minded, and motivated Saw Operator / Fabrication Material Coordinator to join our fabrication team. This is a hands-on manufacturing role for someone who enjoys working with steel, staying organized, and thinking ahead to keep production moving. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but we're also interested in mechanically inclined candidates who are ready to learn and advance their skills. What You'll Do Measure and cut steel using vertical and horizontal band saws Read cut lists, work instructions, and basic fabrication drawings Organize, prepare, and stage materials for welders and fabricators Build complete material kits for upcoming production Think ahead and anticipate material needs Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts Properly rig loads and determine center of gravity for safe, balanced lifts Assist with other fabrication processes as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Other duties as assigned by management. QualificationsRequirements Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16" Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to plan ahead and manage changing priorities Safety-focused approach to working with steel and industrial equipment Ability to safely operate an overhead crane Understanding of proper rigging, load balance, and center of gravity Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Dependable team player who can also work independently Successfully complete the pre-hire physical, drug screen and background check. Manufacturing, fabrication, saw, crane, rigging, forklift, or material handling experience is a plus. Why Join Us?
