Summary of Role:

Responsible for leading advanced semiconductor device characterization and lab infrastructure development across multiple technology platforms including power, RF, ULP, and photonics.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading advanced semiconductor device characterization and lab infrastructure development across multiple technology platforms including power, RF, ULP, and photonics. Designing and executing complex electrical tests such as DC/CV, flicker noise, S-parameter, load pull, and dynamic RdsOn, while driving automation and tool optimization to enhance lab throughput and data quality. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, reliability, and technology development teams to align test methodologies with product requirements, and support global lab coordination across sites. Developing standard operating procedures, mentoring lab personnel, and managing vendor relationships for tool calibration and upgrades. Contribute to strategic initiatives by enabling new test capabilities and improving operational efficiency through data-driven solutions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a closely related field of study.
  • Experience – 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, as a Semiconductor Engineer, or a similar occupation. Requires 2 years of experience in:

1) HEMT Device Characterization

2) Cryogenic modeling

3) Complex RF Testing on Ref circuits for RF and ULP Technologies

4) Establishing new test methodology for Dynamic Rdson characterization using Dual Pulse Testing

5) Lab documentation and SOP development

6) Semiconductor physics and devices to evaluate and analyze test results

7) Preparing reports and making technical recommendations

8) Driving alignment between global Central Service Labs

9) Contributing to NextGen Technology development
