We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to support and enhance Salesforce-based business processes, with a particular focus on the Post Sale lifecycle. This individual will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technical delivery by translating requirements into well-defined user stories, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong Salesforce expertise, hands-on experience with Jira, and a proven ability to operate effectively in Agile/Scrum environments. This role requires a proactive communicator who can manage multiple priorities, drive alignment among stakeholders, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
•    Act as a Business Analyst for Salesforce initiatives, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Post Sale process flow
•    Write clear, detailed, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira using consistent templates and best practices.
•    Facilitate backlog grooming, refinement, and development breakout sessions with business and technical teams.
•    Serve as a liaison between Product Owners and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.  Resolve ambiguities for developers and QA teams.
•    Translate business needs and IT functional processes into well-defined solution requirements.
•    Maintain and update master requirement documentation and key artifacts for ongoing reference.
•    Align with the Development Manager and DevOps Lead on release planning and coordination.
•    Proactively communicate status, risks, issues, and timelines to Product Owners, and escalate when necessary.
•    Support and promote Agile/Scrum principles and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a comparable role.
•    Strong background supporting Salesforce CRM in a high-tech environment.
•    An understanding of post sales and support practices.
•    Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management, user stories, and defect tracking.
•    Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
•    Proven ability to conduct process analysis, document requirements, and recommend improvements.
•    Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $91,900-$137,900. In addition, this role may be eligible for a bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. 

 

 

Pay Range
$91,900—$137,900 USD
