Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires: 

1. Quality Engineering: Spearhead the ever-evolving enhancement of test coverage and platform quality, driving continuous improvement and excellence;

2. Test Automation: Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated automated test cases and test suites leveraging Python, ensuring seamless and efficient testing processes;

3. Collaboration: Foster cross-functional synergy with diverse teams, including hardware and software development teams, other Quality Engineering teams, and our Automation Infrastructure team;

4. Analytical Skills: Perform in-depth root-cause analyses of issues and identify bugs. Assist development in verifying fixes;

5. Problem-Solving: Devise and implement effective solutions to intricate issues, refining tests to be agnostic and adaptable across diverse platform architectures and ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability; and

6. Leadership:  Exceptional leadership and program management acumen, guiding cross-organizational teams of peers through innovative project initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
